West Midlands 2012 Award Winners

Martin Clunes, President of The British Horse Society, presented awards to individuals and organisations who have given outstanding service to the cause of equestrianism and equine welfare at an awards ceremony at Saddlers' Hall in the City of London on Friday 2 November.

The prestigious BHS awards highlight the amazing work that goes on, much of it behind the scenes, on behalf of Britain's horses and riders.  Three volunteers from the West Midlands region were presented with awards; Bobbie Matulja was honoured with an Access Award for her work in Worcestershire, Sandy Sandon and Jane Kerswell were presented with 25 and 30 years long service respectively.  Sandy is a member of the Warwickshire Committee and a dedicated welfare officer and Jane is County Chairman of the Shropshire Committee.
