New for 2018, the Clent Hills National Trust ride saw many riders who hadn’t completed a pleasure ride before enjoy five miles of hilly terrain with panoramic views across the Cotswolds, Shropshire Hills and Welsh Borders.
Rachael Freemantle, pictured on her grey gelding Barney, said: “I hadn’t taken my horse out for 18 months due to health issues, so this was his first trip away from home and the relaxed, calm and organised atmosphere helped us no end. It was brilliantly run and we had a fantastic day!”
Bridget Banks, who joined Rachael on her piebald mare Mezzy, added: “Thank you to the BHS for the ride at Clent, very well organised and spectacular views!”
