Tourists visiting Iron Bridge on Sunday witnessed quite a show when knights in shining armour, princesses and even a dragon rode into Iron Bridge on horseback to celebrate St George’s Day.
Children from Telford Horse Riding and Access donned their best costumes and put on a show for all to see as they rode through the town and over the iconic Iron Bridge.
Andrea Edge, whose daughter Stacey led the parade commented, “We thought it would be good to celebrate St George’s Day on horseback and what better way to do it than for the children to be the stars of the show, dressed up on their ponies.”
It was wonderful to see all the children having such a fantastic time and putting on such a great show for all those who were visiting the area.
The next guided ride is on 14 May and will start in Ketley.
