Hacking Out or Carriage Driving in Hampshire

29 June 2017

May 2017 was the BHS Ride Out Month however we are all aware that there are very few bridleways and tracks that horses can use in these areas and they are only accessed and linked by very busy roads.

The British Horse Society Access team would like to know which tracks, paths and regular routes you ride or carriage drive so that data can be put forwards to local authorities who are planning any developments in the area.

It is vital routes are not downgraded or forgotten about and new links proposed where possible. Recording usage of them can be vital. Your help is needed so please get in touch as soon as possible with details of routes you use. Please contact Diana Fry Safety Officer BHS Hampshire Committee.
