BHS Volunteer Anne Taylor receives five year long service award

Anne Taylor from the BHS Dorset committee received her five year Long Service award from Regional Development Officer, Julie Garbutt.

Anne started on the committee as Communications Officer and has recently taken over the role of Treasurer. On receiving her badge and certificate Anne said: "I can't believe that it is five years since I started volunteering".

As with many charities, volunteers play a key role in delivering the BHS objectives at a local level. Julie Garbutt said: "We have many different roles, all of which are equally important. Anne has been great at helping to communicate news of local training and events in the past and I know she will show as much dedication in her new role as Treasurer. Anne is a great asset to the BHS and I hope she will continue to volunteer with the Society for many years to come."

If anyone would like to get involved with The British Horse Society as a volunteer, please contact Julie Garbutt.
