Rain forces another excellent BHS Scotland event!
“We cannot believe that you managed to get so much expertise under one shed roof!” was the verdict given by one attendent of the recent BHS Scotland Working Horses day held in Perthshire, where a 48 hour torrential downpour forced proceedings into a farm shed with a curtailed programme.
From harness making to horse care, equipment and training no stone was left unturned, and the hardy presenters even managed to put on a fine display of ploughing and harrowing in spite of the weather. With the BHS tearoom on form the event turned into an intimate, informative and very sociable affair, and as one person said: “what better a place to spend a wet Saturday than in the company of Scotland’s top working horse experts along with other enthusiasts talking about the subject we all love most?
“I have learned more in one morning than in years of reading books and watching DVDs – the practical and common sense approach of the presenters and their approachability – made this such a memorable and informative event.”
Now that’s education!
