Patrick Out and About

11 July 2017

Patrick and a very happy IsabellaBHS Patrick has been dipping his toes into a spot of dressage recently – with great success!

Patrick is based at the BHS Approved Robinsons Equiteach in Cleveland and junior rider Isabella Murphy was fortunate to be his partner on this occasion – his second outing.

Proprietor and BHS Welfare Officer, Claire Robinson commented “..this was the first time Isabella had ridden Patrick away from home - but as he had been such a star at Lanchester Show last weekend, we knew he would be good”.

“Isabella was thrilled that his rosette matched her tie - I told her to get us a red one next time” Claire joked.

Smokey Joe (another ex-rescue pony based with Claire), scored his first win with his regular rider before he completed a further test with a junior rider on board – just missing out on a place.

Claire added “they both behaved impeccably, as if it was just another normal day - they both make me very proud”.

Claire has herself been recognised recently, by Hambleton District Council.  Stokesley School nominated her for a business award in recognition for the work Claire carries out in ‘engaging young minds’.  We think it is very well deserved indeed Claire.
