Flying the Flag for Riding Schools

27 Oct 2015

Murton Equestrian Centre in Northumberland will play host to the North of England qualifier for the BHS National Riding School’s Competition early next year.  The event will take place on Monday February 15 and is open to all riding schools in the Region.

The competition is designed to allow clients to showcase their talent and takes the format of both a dressage test and show jumping round, on riding school horses and ponies. Leigh Belbin and Ayla

Murton EC has been fortunate to see clients qualify for the Championships, (held at Warwickshire College in April each year), on no less than three occasions and have been the worthy winners twice.

"It is so nice for the customers to experience such a large and prestigious competition and the publicity from it is great" commented Proprietor Leigh Belbin.

"I can thoroughly recommend the competition to any centre considering taking part", she added. Any Riding School wishing to get involved, should contact: jo.wilson@bhs.org.uk or telephone Jo on 02476 840495 for details.
