We have received funding which has enabled us to offer a bursary place on the BHS East Midlands Training Camp taking place at the Defence Animal Centre, Melton Mowbray, on 11-13 July 2014.
We are looking for somebody who given the right opportunities will ultimately benefit the equine industry.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and talented individual already involved in the equine industry but due to financial restraints is finding it difficult to progress.
This person could be a groom, competitor, working through their BHS qualifications or in some other area of the industry, but they must be able to prove that they would benefit from the sort of intensive training that will be available to them at this training event.
The successful applicant will be asked to provide a case study/written report of their journey. The BHS will need their full permission for their case to be used for marketing and publicity for the British Horse Society.
The closing date for applications is 18 June 2014.

There are still a few spaces left for those who would not qualify for a bursary place to take up the opportunity to be a part of an exciting long weekend to improve their riding and horse knowledge, while gaining an insight into military life at the Defence Animal Centre at Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire.
