Temporary Closure of Public Rights of Way – NCC (West Burton to Cottam) (Temporary Prohibition) Order 2017. The rights of way between West Burton and Cottam Power Stations will be closed from the 27 March until 7 July 2017 to enable replacement of overhead cables. There are no alternative routes available.

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (WEST BURTON TO COTTAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:
No person shall:
(a) proceed on foot
(b) cause any pedal cycle to proceed
(c) cause any horse to proceed
(d) cause any animal to proceed
(e) cause any horse drawn carts or carriages to proceed
(f) cause any vehicle to proceed.
in the following lengths of Byway at North Leverton with Habblesthorpe in the District of Bassetlaw:
- North Leverton with Habblesthorpe Byway No.11 (Street Lane) between grid reference points SK 7965 8184 and SK 8036 8187, a distance of 720 metres
- North Leverton with Habblesthorpe Byway No.15 (Southbank Lane) between grid reference points SK 7980 8116 and SK 8098 8115, a distance of 1180 metres.
- North Leverton with Habblesthorpe Byway No.16 (Cow Pasture Lane) between grid reference points SK 8064 8078 and SK 8078 7975, a distance of 1060 metres.
