Clowne and Creswell - Support from Horse Riders Needed

22 Oct 2014

Community Consultation on Wednesday 22 October 2014

Derbyshire County Council has purchased the disused railway line that runs through the centre of Clowne and is planning its development as a multi-user Trail.

It is potentially a great route as it can provide a vital link between Creswell Crags and Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire to the east; with Poolsbrook Country Park and the Trans Pennine Trail to the west, forming a fantastic link route for local cyclists, walkers and horse riders.

The community consultation event run by Derbyshire County Council is to get your views on how it should be developed.

Please can as many local horse riders attend and express your desire to see the route developed to include horse riders. Make sure you register your interest as a horse rider.

It is a drop-in session between 3pm and 8pm at Clowne Community Centre, Recreation Close, Clowne, Derbyshire S43 4PL
