This year’s Royal Windsor Horse Show is set to be a huge event with evening performances taking place from Thursday to Sunday to celebrate HM The Queen’s 90th birthday.
The BHS marquee will be in its usual location next to the Frogmore Arena, offering everyone the opportunity for rest and recuperation with a cup of tea and a slice of delicious homemade cake!
Events are taking place in the marquee throughout the week. We kick off with the BHS Careers with Horses day on Wednesday 11 May. Tickets to the show are free on Wednesday, so why not pop along to enjoy the show and perhaps find yourself your new dream equestrian career! Sessions will run from 10.30-11.45am, 12.00-1.15pm and 2.30-3.45pm. Professionals from a number of equestrian industries including, Saddlery, Farriery, Lorinery, Equine Dentistry, as well as a member of the Mounted Police, a BHS Instructor and a BHS proprietor, will be available to provide tips and advice on how to develop your career. A member of the BHS Education team will also be on hand for any qualification-related queries and if you have always wanted to work for the BHS then come along and meet one of our HR team who can provide answers about roles within the Society.
Royal Windsor has again made available a partner ticket offer for BHS members with free entry on Thursday 12 May.
Tickets for Wednesday’ (11 May) are now sold out and there are no tickets available on the door. If you are lucky enough to have already got your ticket for Wednesday then pop along to the BHS Marquee located next to the Frogmore Arena to find your new dream equestrian career at our Careers with Horses day.
Tickets for the rest of the week are currently still available but selling fast. If you are looking to take up the BHS Partner Ticket offer on Thursday, or any of the other BHS discounted rates, then we suggest you book on line to avoid disappointment. In addition to all the excitement of the show, there is a packed programme of events taking place within the BHS Marquee including our ‘Ask the Experts’ day and our participation day which includes a book signing by Polly Williamson author of the best-selling ‘Where Did I Go’.
We’ll be holding an ‘Ask the expert’ event in our marquee. Experts on the following topics will be on hand to answer your questions between 10.30am and 4pm:
Access – Janice Bridger and Nicola Greenwood will be on hand to answer general access queries and tell you how to influence local authorities and other organisations to include equestrians in new schemes and developments.
Insurance – Donna McInnes from SEIB will be answering all your equine related insurance queries.
Challenge Rides – Wendy Minor will provide you with information about the many challenge rides we offer. She co-ordinates every aspect of the BHS challenge rides from signing up applicants to meeting participants at the airport, to ensuring every one taking part has the ride of a lifetime!

Be Seen, Be Safer – Squadron Leader Kim Leach and Squadron Leader Gary James from RAF Shawbury will be providing information on their high visibility clothing campaign, Be Seen, Be Safer.
If you aren’t able to attend on Thursday, then don’t worry, Royal Windsor is also offering BHS members discounted tickets on the other days of the Show and we will be running a Participation event on Saturday 14 May from 10.30am-4pm.
