The British Horse Society has joined its Coaching Convention, with its Welfare, Safety and Access Conferences for a bigger and better International Convention. To coincide with 70 years of the BHS, the convention has been extended to three days, with two separate dates in England:
- 26 – 28 March: Hartpury College
- 16 – 18 April: Myerscough College
With a fantastic line-up of speakers, including: Christoph Hess, Russell Mackechnie-Guire, Dr Andrew Mclean, Michael Peace, Sam York FBHS and Chris Bartle FBHS. The convention will focus on three key areas: coaching the rider, training the horse as well as welfare and safety.
Christoph Hess said: “It is so important for coaches to be able to come together to share ideas and to get motivation”. Whilst Christopher Bartle added: “The opportunity for coaches at the International Convention will be huge”.
Expect to come away with top tips to improve your coaching techniques and learn about the welfare best practices for your horse, as well as how to keep yourself safe when riding.
Tickets are available from £45, to find out more information or book your place visit: bhs.org.uk/international-convention.
