Volunteer Welfare Officer for Local BHS Committees

Would you like to meet like-minded people and belong to a team who are working to further the charitable objectives of the BHS?

Joining your local BHS committee will provide you with these opportunities and as the Local Welfare Officer you will be responsible for responding to welfare concerns by providing information to the Welfare team at HQ and if required partner charities and statutory organisations. You can also make a difference by raising awareness of current welfare campaigns and providing information and guidance to horse owners in your area. We are looking to fill Welfare Officer roles in the following areas:

  • All areas except Kent.

Take a look at the full Welfare Officer role profile to find out more about what is involved. If you would like to apply, please complete and return a volunteer enquiry form, with reference requests attached and send to volunteer@bhs.org.uk

Please wait while we complete your membership
