The British Horse Society is the UK’s leading equine charity with a passion for horses that is backed by knowledge and expertise. The BHS represents and provides a range of services for horse riders, horse owners, enthusiasts and professionals throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. This position is a new role to the Society.
In conjunction with the Chief Executive, the Chief Operating Officer will lead, develop and support the Society, taking particular responsibility for the coordination of the departments and supporting them to meet their targets.
The successful applicant will be experienced in leadership and business planning at a high strategic level. You will have had experience in the development of budgets in relation to business planning and management experience in a project environment.
The successful applicant will be a clear communicator, analytical, highly efficient and work well against strict deadlines. This role will deliver the operational aspects of the Society, whilst maintining strong relationships and collaboration among all functions.
