Come and join us for our 2016 Yorkshire Bridleway Day!
We’ve organised a busy day teeming with interesting and informative presentations showcasing what your access and bridleways officers have been doing in Yorkshire to extend, defend and promote your local routes.
Find out how you can highlight access by developing horse tourism and trails in your area, dip your toes into the world of recording historical routes on the definitive map to prevent them from being extinguished in 2026 (before a full days training in Bradford and York), and hear about three women’s 250 mile intrepid adventure from West Devon to Hampshire.
Find out how to digitally map your paths, how one rider has created new routes for equestrians and how you too can receive funding to extend and restore your bridleway network.
We have a speaker from The Ministry of Defence at the event and hoping for a representative from Natural England.
There will also be a stand at lunch showcasing the latest in dynamic recycled surface solutions, Nu-Flex.
The conference, which is taking place at the luxurious Bridge Inn at Walshford, Wetherby, is only £10 per person and includes a delicious lunch and refreshments.
There have been some fantastic achievements in the Yorkshire area, so it’s a time to celebrate these, and learn from others who work tirelessly to reach their goal.
The day promises to be an informative and jam packed day, with knowledgeable speakers in the field, parting with their advice and experiences - so what are you waiting for? Book on now!
