BHS Scotland is delighted to announce that the first BHS Scotland Camp shall take place this year at Lindores Equestrian, Fife on the 21 to 23 September 2018. The instructors are Nick Turner FBHS, Julia Gourley and Sarah-Jayne Bowers.
Riders will experience 4 hours of coached sessions across the weekend, delivered by our BHS Accredited Professional Coaches in both flatwork and jumping. At least one of these sessions can be on the XC course. Please note ‘jumping’ is not a requirement to attend this camp. A more novice group can be formed to work on polework and trec obstacles. Our industry experts will deliver thought provoking sessions to get you fine tuning your technique with your horses’ happiness at the centre of your own improvement.
There shall be a bitting talk on the Friday evening by Mary Wastie, who will meet all riders over the weekend providing advice on your horses’ nutrition and talk about supplements. On Saturday, you will enjoy a session with Juliet Loudon of ‘Outline Chartered Physiotherapy’ on ‘Rider Position and Symmetry’, and on the Sunday afternoon we will finish with an enjoyable competition. Over the weekend you will have plenty of time to watch other lessons and chill out and relax with like-minded horsey people.
There is already keen interest and as numbers are strictly limited, early booking is strongly advised. This Camp is exclusively for BHS Gold Adult Members only (the higher level BHS membership category ‘BHS Friends’ are also eligible).
All of the elements above, including stabling and catering are included in the cost of the camp which is £245.
Payment can be made in instalments, please see booking form for options.
