Road and Rider Awareness Evening

9 Jan 2019 19:00 - 21:00

Come along to this informative evening and find out the latest updates on how to make you and your horse/pony safe and visible on the roads. Find out how to ride your horse safely on the road, how to deal with and report inappropriate behaviour towards riders and their horses. Come and find out how we can work together to spread the word amongst our local community on how to best behave around horses on and off the road.

This will be a chance to talk about information regarding the BHS and will be a fantastic opportunity to discuss with anyone interested in working to re-establish the local branch on the Isle of Man.

Alan Hiscox, Director of Safety for the BHS will be present, along with Samantha Heard, IOM Government Road Safety Manager, PC 104 Richard Goldie from the Roads Policing Unit and also a local advocate. Also present will be Lyndsay Dring, BHS North West Regional Manager.

This evening is free of charge, however spaces are limited so please book quickly!

Time: 7pm - 9pm.
