Knowing the laws and acts of Rights of Way on UK roads and highways is important for all horse owners and riders. Access training days are a great way of learning all about the laws and issues surrounding your rights to ride and carriage drive.
Training is essential for BHS Access and Bridleways Officers, but any BHS members, members of BHS Equestrian Access Groups, members of British Riding Clubs (and in 2015 this offer is also extended to members of The British Driving Society) can come along to our Rights of Way Training Days.
You can book online today for a NON refundable £5 (if you are a member of any of the above) or Training costs £10 for all others wishing to attend. This will go towards our access work and secures your place on the course immediately.
There are three levels of courses available. This Level Two course looks at User Evidence, Documentary Evidence, Definitive Maps and Wider Access. This training course is great way of learning about the laws and issues surrounding your rights to ride and carriage drive on public rights of way.
Time: 9.30am - 4pm.
Cost: £10 or £5 BHS/BRC Members.
