We continually assess the training needs of our members, and seek to deliver quality training to those aiming to complete BHS examinations.
BHSI (British Horse Society Instructor) training courses are designed for anyone considering taking either their Stable Management, Senior Equitation or Senior Coach examinations.
This course is designed for students preparing for the BHS Stable Managers examination. The course will give candidates a solid understanding across all aspects of horse care as well as managerial practices relating to the organisation and running of an equestrian establishment.
The course will also cover horse welfare, specifically the preparation and care of competition horses, as well as breeding and management of young stock.
Full-day instances of this course that are organised by BHS Development Officers or Nation Directors also count as a Continual Professional Development (CPD) for those on the BHS Register of Instructors. Please note that no half-day courses count as CPD.
