BHS Training Department
BHS Training Department

The BHS Training Department supports and works in conjunction with the Examinations Department. It continually assesses the training needs of its members and seeks to deliver quality training to those aiming to complete BHS examinations.

We intend to raise the standard of equestrian knowledge generally and ensure a greater number of our members gain industry recognised qualifications.

What Does the BHS Training Department Provide?

Instructors’ Conventions
Instructors’ Conventions are held twice a year with some of the world’s most highly respected riders and trainers. These are aimed specifically at BHS instructors but are also open to all of those involved within the equestrian community. Typically, instructors’ conventions are rotated around the three main disciplines: Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing.

International Training
As part of the international group (35 countries) that provide internationally recognised qualifications, we administer International passports to UK instructors providing them with a greater opportunity to further their knowledge.
