BHS National Spring Coaching Convention
Each spring the BHS Training Department holds its National Coaching Convention which is generally rotated around the three main equestrian disciplines: Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing.
The convention takes the form of practical demonstrations from some of the world’s most highly respected riders and trainers. Past presenters have included Irish International Show Jumper and trainer John Ledingham, the German Three Day Event Team Coach Christopher Bartle and International Classical Dressage trainer Anja Beran.
The day counts as a refresher course for the BHS Register of Instructors in order to keep training records up-to-date. It also contributes 10 hours of teaching time to those completing their PTT log books.
Although these days are designed with instructors and coaches in mind they will be of interest and benefit to anyone involved in the equestrian world, from a first horse owner through to top industry professionals.
