BHS Stable Managers Exam

Holders of this qualification will have sound experience and knowledge in all aspects of horse care. They will be competent managers, able to supervise and train staff and students. They will be able to examine horses for purchase and discuss and advise on maintaining horse health, care of competition horses for all disciplines and the breeding and management of young stock.

This qualification whilst being recognised in its own right is also a component part of the BHS Instructor Certificate. Holders will be able to run a private or commercial yard, competition yard or riding establishment
