BHS Intermediate Instructor

The BHSII certificate is awarded to candidates who have achieved the BHS Horse Knowledge and Riding Stage 4 and the Intermediate Teaching Test.

Candidates are also required to hold the Health and Safety Executive First Aid at Work or Equine Specific First Aid Certificate.

Holders of the BHSII are qualified to teach riders up to Elementary level Dressage, Pre-Novice Horse Trials and Discovery Show Jumping.
