Clubmark accreditation for clubs

Have you heard of Clubmark?

Clubmark is a cross sport accreditation scheme specifically designed for clubs with junior sections in England.

National governing bodies (NGBs) and county sports partnerships (CSPs) award Clubmark to proven high quality clubs. There are currently 2,500 clubs across 25 sports. As far as Clubmark is concerned in the Equestrian world riding schools are considered as clubs.

The British Horse Society is working with the designated consultants to ensure that the equestrian world has the capacity to clubmark all relevant organisations. The BHS is undertaking this on behalf of the British Equestrian Federation. More than 20 BHS Approved Centres are currently working towards their portfolio. Other BEF member bodies are also working on how the scheme can be adapted to suit their needs.

What are the benefits of Clubmark accreditation for my club or centre?

Its benefits include club development, increased membership, developing coaches and volunteers and an increased profile. The legitimacy to work with local authorities and other government agencies will also be enabled.
